How to Help
1. Shop and dress with compassion. Always choose garments and accessories free of fur and fur trim.
2. Sign the fur-free pledge to receive important alerts about how to help furbearing animals.
3. Contact Neiman Marcus and ask for a fur-free policy:
Phone: 1-800-937-9146 (ask for the executive office)
Email: offices@neimanmarcus.com and ecare@ecare.neimanmarcus.com
Fax: 214-742-4904
Address:

3. Educate fur wearers. If you see someone wearing fur, whether it is a full-length coat or trim on the cuffs or hood, talk to them about the cruelty of fur, or hand them one of The Fund for Animals' fur cards [PDF].
5. Shut the door on cruelty. The Fund has a special leaflet designed for "doorhangering"--to be hung on doorknobs. Just pick a neighborhood and spread the message of compassion.
6. Hand out leaflets for an hour. Good locations include the front of department stores that sell fur, the opera, and the theatre.
7. Write letters. Write to department stores that sell fur, and fashion designers that use fur to express your concerns about the fur trade. Also, write letters to the editor of magazines and newspapers that advertise fur, promote fur, or run articles about fur.
8. Wear an anti-fur shirt, necklace, or button, and put a bumper sticker on your car.
9. Show the videos on this website to other people.
To order free anti-fur fact sheets, brochures, cards, leaflets, or doorhangers, simply email The Fund for Animals. Thank you for speaking for those who can't.
